Norris Lake is one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in the southeastern united states. With 800 miles of tee lined shoreline and 33,000 surface acres of water, there is enough are to explore year after year.

Big creek is a quieter part of the lake and offers the some of the smoothest waters for water skiing, wake-boarding, kayaking or taking a leisurely cruise. The area is also known for excellent fishing.

Although the area feels remote, it is only three miles from town for grocery shopping and restaurants. It is also an easy easy boat ride to Indian River, Whitman Hollow and Sequoyah marinas.

Property Description

This spacious home located at the top of Big Creek features 5 decks totaling over 2000 square feet of outdoor living overlooking the beautiful waters of Norris Lake.

The home has an open floor plan with large kitchen/family room with gas fireplace.

The kitchen is well equipped for large groups.

The garage "The Hangar" has been converted to a rec room with comfortable recliners, a large screen TV, ping pong table and sliding glass doors to a deck overlooking the lake.

There are six bedrooms, including three king beds, two with queen beds and "The Barracks" with three queens and two twins. The home comfortably sleeps 15 in real beds- no bunk beds, trundle beds or sleeper sofas.

There are stairs from the deck down to a private dock with large swim platform and year round deep water. A 10x24 slip is reserved for your boat and another boat can be tied to the side of the dock. There is a kayak dock with easy entry ramp and three kayaks available for your use.

The large decks feature comfortable furniture, a gas fire pit, gas grill and an amazing outdoor shower (trust me, nobody will want to shower inside).

There are about 100 stairs from the house to the dock. There is a wood staircase with railings and several landings. For older guests or others who cannot make the trek, we are located 1/2 mile from the marina, allowing people to drive to the marina and be picked up by boat.

For larger groups there is the option to also rent the home next door which has includes two additional bedrooms. There are also additional properties available through other owners. If you may need extra space, please contact me to discuss.
